Choosing the right Childrens Bunk Beds for your child might be a little more complicated than buying other furniture for your home. When selecting a Bunk Bed, you should start out by determining your needs.
Measure Your Space
Kids Bunk Beds are a natural fit for smaller spaces, but can have plenty of benefits for larger rooms, too. Start by measuring your space. Along with floor space, determine ceiling height, too. Leave at least two feet of space between the bunk bed and the ceiling to prevent bumps. While bunk bed heights vary, the average bunk is usually between 5 ½ to 6 feet tall.
Determine the Type of Bunk Bed You Need
There are many types of bunk beds ranging from Mid Sleepers, High Sleepers & the regular Childrens Bunk Bed. Mid Sleeper Bunk Beds are ideal as a substitute Bunk Bed for Small Rooms as they are not as a high as the High Sleeper but still offer great space saving options or allows you to create a little play area underneath the Mid Sleeper! High Sleepers have been very popular over the last number of years, these cool, funky High Sleeper are available with a number of different options such as a Bed on top with a Desk option underneath or a futon option with desk or with Desk & Bookcase. The standard Bunk Beds are available in different colour options such as Oak, Painted & White! Our Bunk Beds are mainly supplied by Aspace and all the Aspace Bunk Beds are made from solid Rosewood Pine.
Determine the Features You Need in Bunk Beds
Special features, such as study areas, storage, or play features tents are available, depending on the age and needs of your child. For children who like to have friends sleep over, bunk beds with futons or pull out beds are good options. You can pick out bunk beds that come with the features you desire or buy them as add-ons. It is always worth it to get your child's opinion and consult him about his needs as you might be overlooking something. |
